What shipped today
Salestrics AI is the intelligence layer across CRM, mail, docs, support, finance, and operations — one runtime, multiple surfaces. Launch day delivers everything in Changelog #9:
- Salestrics-AI-v1 and v2 — dual branded models with per-user picker and admin default
- Six experiences — Assistant, Briefings, Insights, Actions, Compose, Analyze
- Morning Brief — overnight digest on the org dashboard
- Slash commands —
/brief,/pipeline,/email, and more - Org AI Instructions — company context, tone, and restrictions in Admin → AI Guardrails
- Investigation streaming — v2 shows tool calls as it works across modules
- Connect summaries — post-meeting follow-ups in Assistant history
Included on every plan, including Free Forever. Public demo: ai.salestrics.com.
Salestrics-AI-v1 vs v2
Two models, two jobs. Pick per task in Assistant; admins set the org default in Admin → AI Guardrails.
| Model | Best for | Runtime |
|---|---|---|
| v1 | Quick drafts, summaries, everyday answers | 4096-token budget, 6 tool-call iterations |
| v2 | Multi-step investigations across CRM, mail, docs, support | 8192-token budget, 10 tool-call iterations |
v2 is the default for new orgs. Use v1 when you need speed; v2 when the question spans more than one module. The demo at ai.salestrics.com runs the same picker as the product.
The six experiences
Assistant is the conversational entry point. The other five surfaces handle specific intelligence jobs without making you re-prompt the same context every morning.
| Experience | What it does |
|---|---|
| Assistant | Investigations, drafts, and tool calls in chat |
| Briefings | Proactive digest — pipeline movement, mail debt, risk signals |
| Insights | Patterns surfaced before you search |
| Actions | Structured next steps on records |
| Compose | Mail and document drafts with thread context |
| Analyze | Cross-app synthesis — pipeline, support, finance in one answer |
Architecture deep dive: beyond passive chatbots. Briefings workflow: proactive daily intelligence.
Morning Brief and slash commands
Morning Brief appears on the org dashboard with overnight movement across
deals, mail, and related modules. Need a refresh before a call? Type /brief
in Assistant or open the AI Hub.
Common slash commands:
| Command | Action |
|---|---|
/brief | Morning brief on demand |
/pipeline | Deals closing and stalled |
/summarize | Yesterday across CRM and support |
/email | Draft follow-up from the thread on the opportunity |
/timeline | Account activity timeline |
/analyze | Explain my business |
/automate | Cross-workspace automation intent |
/dashboard | Create Insight dashboard from intent |
Org AI Instructions
Admins configure company context, communication style, terminology, and restrictions in Admin → AI Guardrails. Instructions apply across Assistant, Briefings, Insights, Mail, and Workspace. Per-app AI permissions and token limits sit in the same panel.
Three sentences of context beat a blank slate: what you sell, how drafts should sound, and what the AI must never promise.
Cross-app investigations
v2 can chain tool calls — CRM lookup, mail search, doc retrieval — without you pasting
threads into a separate chatbot. Mail on opportunities powers /email. Connect
meeting summaries land in Assistant history for follow-up drafts.
When v2 runs, investigation streaming shows which tools it called. Useful when you need to verify the answer path, not just the paragraph.
Example questions for day one
Try these in Assistant without pasting context — they only work when mail and pipeline sit on the same record:
- “Which deals went quiet this week?” —
/pipelineor a direct ask - “Draft a follow-up to yesterday’s demo with Acme Corp” —
/email - “Summarize everything that happened on the Globex account in July” —
/timeline - “Why did support volume spike on enterprise accounts?” — v2 investigation across Resolve and CRM
- “What should I know before the board call?” —
/briefor Morning Brief on the dashboard
If a question fails, check whether buyer mail is on the opportunity and stages are current. AI reads what your team logged — it does not invent pipeline.
Where to start
- Read Morning Brief on the dashboard before your first meeting today.
- Ask Assistant one account question you would normally answer from Gmail — no paste.
- Run
/pipelinebefore standup. - If you are admin, add org AI Instructions before inviting the team.
- Line-by-line release notes: Changelog #9.
