Changelog #14
August 4–August 5, 2026
Connect Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, and other AI clients directly to your Salestrics workspace. This release ships a hosted MCP server with org-scoped API keys, discovery endpoints, and 65 tools across CRM, Mail, Automation, Workspace, and more — plus Admin UI for keys and per-client setup snippets.
Here is what we shipped for customers between August 4 and August 5, 2026 — a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so AI agents work on your live Salestrics data, the admin tools to connect them safely, and the app coverage that makes CRM, mail, automation, and analytics actionable from outside the browser.
Hosted MCP server
-
Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint — AI clients connect to your organization workspace
over MCP at
/api/mcp, with org-scoped API keys (smcp_live_…), hashed storage, and per-organization rate limiting. - Discovery & health — Standard discovery endpoints, OAuth protected-resource metadata, health checks, and an OpenAPI 3.1 spec so clients self-configure without guesswork.
- Full MCP protocol surface — 65 tools across 13 categories, static and dynamic resources, and workflow prompts (pipeline review, lead qualify, connect-integration, and more).
- Client detection & audit — Connections record which client connected — Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, and others — so org admins can review access.
Tools & app coverage
- CRM — List, search, create, and update records; log activities; pipeline shortcuts; and dashboard queries.
- Automation — Trigger workflows and execute tasks from connected agents.
- AI automation — List, inspect, and trigger AI automations.
- Inbox — Read-only inbox access: list messages, open threads, search, and unread counts.
- Workspace — Workspace-level MCP tools for docs, drive, and collaboration context.
- Resolve & Ledger — Dashboard tools backed by live CRM queries.
- PostHog — Native analytics tools when your organization has PostHog credentials configured.
- External integrations — Stripe, Slack, Notion, and other connected apps proxied through the hosted server; bring your own custom MCP integrations over HTTP or stdio.
- MCP admin (read-only) — Organization administrators can list API keys and review the MCP audit log.
Admin & developer experience
- MCP API keys in Admin — Create and revoke keys with per-client setup snippets for eleven clients: Cursor, Claude, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed, Continue, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, and generic HTTP/stdio configurations.
- @salestrics/mcp-bridge — A stdio bridge package for legacy MCP clients that need a local process to reach the hosted server.
