Beta Week 2 Changelog

You can now run team and customer meetings inside Salestrics — no separate video app required. This week also brought a round of CRM and Workspace updates so logging work, editing deals, and presenting a deck all happen in one place.

Connect Video: meetings where you already work

Connect now includes hosted video. Start a call with a teammate, share a link with someone outside your org, or schedule a meeting from your workspace calendar — all without opening another tab.

Here’s what’s new in the meeting experience:

  • Guest links. Send a meeting URL. Guests get a simple join screen, enter their name, and they’re in the room with you.
  • Rejoin without hassle. If a meeting ends and you start it again, guests can come back on the same link.
  • Present from Slides. Open a Workspace deck inside the call, pick a theme, and go fullscreen when you’re ready to walk through it.
  • On the calendar. Connect meetings show on your workspace calendar. You can also kick off a video call from a calendar event.
  • Recordings in Drive. When you record a meeting, the file lands in Workspace Drive so your team can find it later.
  • A steadier room. Cleaner layout, more reliable mic and camera controls, virtual backgrounds that look right, and meetings that time out when everyone’s gone.

Connect Chat is unchanged — same team channels and direct messages as before, now sitting alongside video in one collaboration hub.

Workspace: Drive and Slides

Drive accepts the photo formats you’d normally upload — PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, and more — without asking you to convert files first.

Slides is more capable: themes, slide layouts, a formatting toolbar, and fullscreen presenter mode. Build a deck for a customer call or an internal sync, then present it straight from Connect.

Activities: less typing, more context

Logging calls, tasks, and follow-ups is smoother. Related To is a dropdown of your active CRM records — pick the lead, contact, or opportunity instead of typing a name and hoping it matches.

Open an activity and you’ll see a sidebar with the parent record, source note, and anything else tied to it — related activities, notes, tasks, and files. Descriptions use a rich text editor with formatting and auto-save, so meeting notes and call summaries have room to breathe.

Campaigns: edit the numbers that matter

Update Budget, Leads, Responses, and ROI right on the campaign record. Attach leads from a checkbox list of names instead of hunting down IDs. The performance funnel displays correctly even when it’s empty, and a Campaign details section keeps the full picture on one screen.

Quotes, products, and price books

Quotes got more hands-on. Edit line items in place and watch totals recalculate. Change Valid Until and Terms without leaving the record.

Product records now let you edit Billing and Unit. Price book entries link directly to your product catalog — add or update entries and the product list on the book stays in sync with what you’ve entered.

Leads, contacts, and opportunities

Pipeline records keep getting easier to work with. Lead score updates from your qualification inputs. Converting a lead archives it as Converted so active lists stay clean. Contacts carry separate Physical, Shipping, and Mailing address cards. Opportunities use a real account picker — choose from accounts in your org instead of typing free text.

Custom fields let you add the data your team actually tracks — text, numbers, dates, picklists, and more — on any open record. Save a setup in My custom fields and apply it again with one click when you’re standardizing how reps capture the same details across similar deals.

Orbit

Product update posts from @orbit-system now show the Salestrics icon as the profile photo, so automated announcements are easy to tell apart from your teammates’ posts.
